What should I check when choosing a button-front skirt?

Consider whether the buttons coordinate with accessories you already own. Look for clear images of the selected color's button finish.

What should I do when a skirt size chart uses unfamiliar units?

Compare waist and hip figures after converting them consistently. Treat international label conversions as approximate unless the seller specifies otherwise.

What should I inspect when buying a secondhand skirt?

Look closely at the waistband for signs of wear, distortion, or previous adjustment. Inspect the lining as well as the outside of the garment when inside images are available.
